Previous to this e-mail, I have just sent out warning e-mails to pilots who are at least 1 month behind on their flights. I probably sent e-mails to 1/3 of the hub b/c no pireps have been filed since April or May!!!! This e-mail is NOT the warning e-mail.

If you got that e-mail, please fly and file a PIREP! Its the best way to get current.

Otherwise use the main AvA site and request a LOA. I will approve them, no questions asked. Please do not e-mail me asking for LOA, b/c all I can ask is that you go to the main site and request a LOA.

I plan on removing pilots from the roster next week who do not fly, or request LOA. We have way too many pilots on the roster who are not flying right now for my liking.

LAX Pilots,

I hope all is well. We are at the end of another month. Time is flying by….

For the entire month of July we celebrate AvA’s birthday. This year we are 7 years old. Our CEO has granted a CAT waiver for all pilots for the whole month of July. This means you can fly any plane in the fleet regardless of your hours with AvA. Take advantage and get out there and fly some big jets on some long routes….

We will celebrate our birthday on July 26 with a very unique event, the Flight of the Flagships on 7/26. This is a retro flight event!!! Our fleet dept. has worked hard to get us some good models, so please sign up to fly these old birds on the 26th. I expect to see lots of LAX pilots in the skies on that day.

I plan to do a lot of roster cleaning in July, so please get up to date. We have the best looking roster at AvA, and I intend to keep it that way. If you need a LOA, request it via the main site. I accept all requests….

Lets make July a big month for LAX and AvA! 7 years as a top VA is a hell of an accomplishment!!! The VA would not be around if we did not have great pilots. I know we have a lot here at LAX!!!
